DOWNLOAD
The first week is free.
No card and no account — just an email for your free key. Download, paste the key, point lantv at a folder of videos, and every screen in the house can watch tonight. The links always fetch the newest release.
Get your free week key
lantv opens with a key. The free one is a week with everything included — it arrives by email, and the week starts counting the first time you use it, not today.
Pick your computer
Windows
Windows 10 or newer, 64-bit
Linux
glibc 2.34 or newer — Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, RHEL/Rocky 9+
macOS
macOS 13 or newer
Not yet — lantv for Mac is waiting on Apple notarization, and we won’t offer a download that Gatekeeper blocks. It’s coming; nothing else about your Mac is the problem.
What happens next
- 1
Run it and paste your key — lantv asks once, checks it online once, and from then on everything stays inside your network.
- 2
Point it at a folder of videos — lantv reads what’s actually inside each file, not just the names.
- 3
Press Start server. A QR code appears; scan it with a phone or tablet and the library opens.
- 4
Say yes once per screen. You approve every device from the lantv window — no accounts, ever.
Honest note for Windows: lantv is not code-signed, so SmartScreen will say the publisher is unrecognised. You will have to press More info, then Run anyway. We would rather tell you that here than let you meet it alone. Rather than ask you to take our word for it, every release is published with the checksum of the exact file — see below.
Check what you downloaded
Compare the SHA-256 of your file with the one below. On Windows: certutil -hashfile FILE SHA256. On Linux: sha256sum FILE. If they match, you have exactly what we published.
