No account at any step. Nothing to configure on the devices themselves — the setup lives on one computer, and everything else just scans and watches.
Install lantv
On the computer where your videos live — that’s the only machine that runs anything. The first week is free, no card and no account.
Point it at your folder
Choose the folder once. lantv builds your library from it — named by you, fetched from nowhere. Add files later and they simply appear.
Scan the QR code
lantv shows one on your computer. Point a phone or tablet camera at it and the browser opens straight to your library. Devices without a camera — the TV or the Xbox, say — type the same short local address instead.

Your computer asks whether to allow the new device — that’s the device gate. Approve it once and lantv remembers. Then watch.
No step asked for an email address, an account, or the internet. That’s the design.
